In October I won the Drew Johnson Memorial Prize, 1st place, in the Lincoln Division of the Lincoln Days Art Show in Hodgenville, KY! My 17.5"x25.5" soft pastel painting on pastel mat depicts the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park also in Hodgenville, KY. My painting will be on permanent display at the Lincoln Museum. Drew Johnson and I were great friends from the time we were in high school together until his death in 2021, so winning this memorial prize was of profound significance to me.
